Central Kansas Chapter - Arma InternationalBoard Members2009-2010--------------------------------------------------------President - Peggy Nikkel, CRM, EMT-1No Picture Available Peggy Nikkel, Records Management Administrator, Underground Vaults & Storage Peggy has worked in the records management field for 40 years. Currently, she is responsible for all Records Management activities with UV&S. These include Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, procedures manual for records center operations; Forms Management, Records Retention, and the elusive email and e-records. She worked closely with consultants in the development and implementation of software for computerizing UV&S' Record Centers operations. Peggy has been a member of ARMA since 1985, serving in all officer positions of the previous and current local Wichita chapter. She has also served at the International level on the International Program Committee for 4 years, the Glossary Task Force and currently on the Contracted Destruction of Records Task Force. She also teaches EMT classes at Hutchinson Community College and CPR/1st Aid in the community. --------------------------------------------------------Vice-President & Webmaster - Michael Schnier
Michael currently works in the Koch Industries, Inc. Compliance Department as a Compliance Specialist. In addition to his compliance role, he is also the KII Record Center Manager and the Records Manager for Koch Discontinued Operations. Michael has been in the Records and Information Management Industry for 11 years. His experience ranges from legacy projects (inheriting volumes of records with little or no indexing) to IT related RIM Projects (ERMS systems, Software Licensing, Data Privacy, Database Retention). Jaclyn McCaleb is a Records Supervisor for the law firm of Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP (SMH). As one of the nation’s largest law firms, SMH has legal roots dating back more than a century and experience in more than 45 practice areas. Jaclyn has worked in the legal profession for 10 years, 7 years in records and information management with SMH. She oversees the daily activities and special projects in the records department for the Wichita office. Born and raised in Kansas, Jaclyn resides in Wichita with her family, enjoys reading and running and gives back to her community any way that she can. --------------------------------------------------------Treasurer - Monika Stonehocker
Monika is a Project Manager for Fidelity Bank. She is currently heading up the implementation of Fidelity’s RIM Project. Monika has been in banking for 25 years, and has been working with Records and Information Management for the past 4 years. Some of her current project work has come in the area of imaging solutions. Laurie Carpenter, CRM, is the Director, Records & Information Management at The Walt Disney Company. Laurie has more than 20 years of experience in Records and Information Management (RIM) in a range of industries and is a frequent facilitator on marketing RIM, electronic content management systems, and records management basics. She has facilitated at both the local and national level for organizations such as ARMA International, Barnett International, and the Institute for International Research. She has served on ARMA International’s Records Storage Task Force, has written articles for the Info Pro, Information Management Journal and has conducted an ARMA Webinar. Pat Wilson is the Koch Industries, Inc. Records Manager and a Compliance Analyst within the Compliance and Ethics Office of Koch Industries, Inc. In addition to his RIM role, Pat is also the Compliance System Owner for Intellectual Property and Government Reporting and Contracts. Pat’s background is in Information Technology with an emphasis on messaging and collaboration technologies as well as management of technology deployment projects.
